Choose a REALTOR® who knows your specific neighborhoods, explains things clearly, answers when you call, and can show you real recent results. Interview two or three agents, ask how they'd handle your exact situation, and pay attention to how they communicate before you ever sign. The right fit should feel like a calm guide, not a salesperson.
I'd rather you hire the right agent than hire me for the wrong reasons. Here's what I'd look for if I were in your shoes.
Local knowledge you can test
Ask an agent about school boundaries, newer developments, commute times, and what homes like yours have sold for recently. Someone who works Lakeville and Apple Valley every day should answer without reaching for a search engine.
